Afghan Ministry of Defense Announces Series of Airstrikes on Pakistani Military Targets


Kabul: The Afghan Ministry of Defense announced today, Friday, that it had carried out a series of airstrikes on Pakistani military targets. The Ministry stated that these airstrikes were directed at various military sites within Pakistan, including areas in Faizabad.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Afghan Air Force conducted a series of airstrikes on Pakistani military targets located in Islamabad, Jamrud, and Abbottabad. The strategic military headquarters of Pakistan were reportedly destroyed and targeted during these operations.



The Ministry elaborated that the attacks on Islamabad were in retaliation to Pakistan’s earlier targeting of Kabul and other Afghan cities. This series of airstrikes marks a significant escalation in tensions between the two neighboring countries, reflecting the ongoing conflict dynamics in the region.
