Baghdad: During a meeting with a delegation from the Yazidi community, National Security Advisor Qasim al-Aboudi emphasized that the unity and solidarity of Iraqis are essential for protecting peaceful coexistence. Al-Aboudi stated that these elements are crucial for safeguarding freedoms and rights within the country.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Aboudi met with the Yazidi delegation from the Sinjar district to discuss various issues, including ways to strengthen fraternal coexistence and consolidate national unity while rejecting extremist rhetoric. The discussions also covered the reconstruction of Sinjar, the situation of displaced persons, and measures to enhance security in the region.

Al-Aboudi underscored the importance of the Yazidis as a vital component of Iraqi society and reiterated the government’s commitment to providing justice for victims of terrorism through well-considered plans. The emphasis was placed on the necessity of unity and solidarity among Iraqis to ensure long-term peaceful coexistence.
