Baghdad:The Ministry of Oil has announced the completion of preparations for the “Baghdad International Energy Investment Forum,” set to take place on January 20-21, 2027, focusing on “Towards Optimal Investment in Oil and Gas.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the forum will occur under the Prime Minister’s patronage, featuring participation from global energy ministers, heads of major corporations, and international organizations.

The event aims to showcase Iraq’s investment opportunities in the oil and gas sectors, aligning with the vision to position Baghdad as a key player in regional and global energy markets. The organizing committee has invited energy ministers, international organization leaders, and business executives to discuss sustainable partnerships, technological advancements, and infrastructure development for efficient resource investment.
