Baghdad:Secretary-General of Badr Organization Hadi Al-Amiri and Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs Mohsen Al-Mandalawi have emphasized the critical need to harness national resources to bolster the Iraqi economy.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Al-Amiri welcomed Al-Mandalawi to his office in Baghdad, where he congratulated him on his new role as Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs. Al-Amiri expressed his hopes for Al-Mandalawi’s success in managing the energy sector and advancing its development.

The discussion between the two officials focused on setting priorities for future work, including plans to enhance production and distribution systems. They also discussed upgrading the infrastructure of Iraq’s oil, gas, and electricity sectors to meet the country’s needs effectively.
