Manchester:Manchester City’s challenges continued as they faced their second consecutive defeat in the English Premier League, losing 1-0 at home to Brighton in the ninth round of fixtures.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Yasin Ayari secured the victory for Brighton by scoring the only goal in the 11th minute at the Etihad Stadium. This match served as a form of redemption for Brighton, who were previously knocked out by City at the same venue after a penalty shootout following a 1-1 draw in the EFL Cup last Wednesday.

This defeat is Manchester City’s third in October, following their 4-2 loss to Paris Saint-Germain at the Etihad Stadium in the UEFA Champions League.
