Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji and the head of the State of Law parliamentary bloc, Yasser al-Maliki, emphasized the importance of unifying political positions in addressing regional and international issues.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Chancellery released a statement highlighting that during their meeting, Al-Araji and Al-Maliki discussed the current situation within Iraq. They underscored the significance of a cohesive political approach to support Iraq’s unity, security, and stability and that of the broader region.

Al-Araji further advocated for the need for ongoing coordination and cooperation between Iraq’s legislative and executive branches. This collaboration is vital to expedite the resolution of issues affecting citizens and to strengthen public confidence in state institutions.
