Baghdad: The Security Advisor to the Prime Minister, Qasim al-Araji, met with Toby Harward, the representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), to discuss the situation of refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs). The advisor's media office stated that the meeting addressed ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between Iraq and the UNHCR on humanitarian issues, particularly those related to refugees and IDPs, in order to support stability and strengthen joint efforts.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Araji emphasized the importance of continued cooperation with the United Nations and its agencies. Harward praised the existing cooperation with the Iraqi government, affirming the UNHCR's continued support for its humanitarian efforts.
