Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji emphasized the importance of dialogue, diplomacy, and constructive communication in addressing outstanding issues between countries. The National Security Advisory stated in a press release: ‘Al-Araji met today with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Baghdad, Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadegh.’
According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, emphasis was placed on the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and developing cooperation between the two countries in a way that serves their common interests. Al-Araji pointed out that the Iraqi and Iranian peoples share deep-rooted historical ties and numerous cultural and social commonalities, forming a solid foundation for greater rapprochement and cooperation.
Al-Araji stressed the importance of dialogue, diplomacy, and constructive communication in addressing outstanding issues between countries, which contributes to calming tensions, consolidating stability in the region, and preventing escalation.
