Nineveh: Al-Fayyad, speaking from Nineveh, affirms the constant readiness to confront security challenges. The head of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), Faleh al-Fayyad, held a meeting today at the PMF’s Nineveh Operations Command headquarters, in the presence of the operations commander, Khudair al-Matrouhi, and a number of other commanders.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, al-Fayyad received a detailed briefing on the security situation in the province, the nature of the PMF units’ movements and deployment, and their tasks in maintaining security across various sectors. Al-Fayyad stressed the necessity of constant readiness to confront any security challenges or threats, emphasizing the importance of strengthening intelligence efforts and developing cooperation and coordination with citizens to contribute to consolidating security and stability in the province.

He also emphasized the importance of caring for the fighters, providing for their operational needs, and addressing their requirements to enable them to perform their duties efficiently, stressing that “the care and support of the fighters is a priority for the PMF.”
