Baghdad: Ammar al-Hakim, head of the National State Forces Alliance, has urged for unified efforts to address the ongoing challenges facing Iraq. He expressed his continued support for the al-Zaidi government in its campaign against corruption and its commitment to economic and financial reform.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during a meeting with a delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party, led by Hoshyar Zebari, al-Hakim highlighted Iraq’s significant economic potential despite the impact of regional events. He stressed the need to turn these challenges into opportunities and advocated for diligent efforts to diversify the country’s income sources and oil export outlets.

Al-Hakim also underscored the necessity of advancing legislation and laws that promote stability and facilitate the comprehensive restructuring of the Iraqi state and its institutions.
