Baghdad: The Head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, engaged in discussions with Parliament Speaker Dr. Mahmoud al-Mashhadani concerning regional developments, Iraq’s position, and the extent of its impact.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, Al-Hakim and Al-Mashhadani expressed their condemnation of the bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities, labeling it a violation of international law and conventions. They reiterated Iraq’s supportive position towards the Islamic Republic of Iran and stressed the importance of taking necessary precautions to prevent environmental impacts or potential pollution that might affect Iraq.

Furthermore, both leaders underscored the significance of the upcoming parliamentary elections and the necessity of conducting them as scheduled. They highlighted the importance of enacting fundamental laws that affect citizens’ lives and contribute to the country’s development.
