Al-Hakim Expresses Condolences on the Passing of Renowned Broadcaster Khaled Al-Eidani


Baghdad: Ammar al-Hakim, head of the National State Forces Alliance, has extended his condolences to the media community following the passing of pioneering broadcaster Khaled Al-Eidani, who succumbed to illness, marking the end of a decades-long career in media.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Hakim praised Al-Eidani as one of the most prominent figures in the history of Iraqi radio and television. Al-Eidani was recognized for his significant contributions to the Iraqi media landscape and for his historic role as the first broadcaster to present a news bulletin on Iraqi color television.



Al-Hakim concluded his statement by praying for Al-Eidani’s soul, wishing God’s mercy upon him, and offering comfort to his family and loved ones in their time of grief.
