Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi discussed today, Friday, with the Syrian and Lebanese ambassadors, the latest developments in the region.

A statement by the media office of the Speaker of Parliament stated that “Al-Halbousi received, in two separate meetings, the Syrian ambassador, Sattam Jadaan al-Dandah, and the Lebanese ambassador, Ali Adib al-Habhab.”

The statement added that “during the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation in a number of areas for the benefit of the Iraqi people and the brotherly Syrian and Lebanese peoples, as well as the latest developments in the region and a number of issues of common interest.”
