Erbil: Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi offered his condolences today to Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) leader Masoud Barzani and Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on the passing of the elder brother of the Barzani family.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Speaker’s media office released a statement noting that al-Halbousi, accompanied by a parliamentary delegation, met with Masoud Barzani and Masrour Barzani in Erbil. The meeting was held to express sympathies and support during this time of mourning for the Barzani family.
