According to National Iraqi News Agency, the encounter took place at Al-Ghaz Al-Shamal Stadium. Al-Kahraba took the lead when their professional player, Akwa, found the net in the 34th minute. However, Al-Ghaz Al-Shamal managed to level the score in the second half with a goal from their striker, Redha Fadel, in the 52nd minute.

This result leaves both Al-Kahraba and Al-Ghaz Al-Shamal with a single point each, as both teams had suffered defeats in their opening matches of the league.
