Baghdad The Karkh Health Department announced the death of 15 people infected with the Corona virus in its hospitals, while indicating that there are more than 500 patients who are struggling for life.
The Director General of Karkh Health Directorate, Jasib Abdul Latif, said in a statement that “fifteen patients infected with the Corona virus have died in our department’s hospitals today, some of them young people.”
He added, “we have more than five hundred patients who are struggling for life in difficult conditions and exhaustion for our brave affiliates,” noting that “more than fifteen thousand others are receiving treatment at homes on the Karkh side alone.”
He pointed out that “the situation is liable to be more complicated in light of the lack of full compliance with the conditions of prevention,” calling on citizens to cooperate for their safety.
