Baghdad: Speaker of the House of Representatives Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani emphasized his commitment to supporting local governments and governors in the legislative domain. During a meeting with the Governor of Wasit, Mohammed Al-Mayahi, and several MPs from the governorate, Al-Mashhadani highlighted the achievements of various provinces, notably Wasit Province, in implementing service projects.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Mashhadani underscored the importance of provinces continuing their efforts to execute projects that benefit Iraqi citizens and address their needs. He reaffirmed the House of Representatives’ support for local governments and governors in legislative matters.

During the discussion, the delegation from Wasit provided a brief overview of the primary challenges hindering the province’s development work and the completion of significant projects.
