Basra: Al-Minaa coach Hussein Abdul Wahid emphasized the significance of tomorrow’s match against Erbil, acknowledging it as a crucial and challenging fixture.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Abdul Wahid expressed his views during a pre-match press conference ahead of the fourth round fixture. He stressed the need for full focus and playing with their characteristic team spirit. The coach assured that the team’s preparations are on track and that everyone is ready for the match.
He stated, “We want to prove our true potential and our level as a team that deserves recognition in the Iraqi Stars League.” Al-Minaa approaches the game with high morale following positive outcomes in their previous three rounds. They have garnered seven points from a goalless draw against Al-Zawraa, a 2-1 victory over Zakho, and a commanding 3-0 win against Al-Gharraf. These results have placed them second in the Iraqi Stars League standings.
Al-Minaa is eager to secure a positive result against Erbil in the fourth round at Franso Hariri Stadium.
