Baghdad: Head of the Turkmen parliamentary bloc, MP Arshad Al-Salihi, met with the National Security Advisor, Qasim Al-Araji. During the meeting, they reviewed current political and national issues and the security situation in Kirkuk, within the framework of strengthening stability and consolidating institutional work.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, both sides emphasized the importance of expediting the fulfillment of constitutional obligations within the legal framework to support political stability and strengthen the democratic process. They stressed the necessity of prioritizing the country’s best interests and adopting a spirit of national responsibility that contributes to unifying ranks and bringing political forces together under the umbrella of the nation.
The importance of expanding dialogue and understanding among various political forces was also emphasized, as it is the essential approach to addressing current challenges and moving forward with the reform and development process. This includes supporting efforts aimed at consolidating security and stability throughout the country, in a way that responds to citizens’ aspirations and strengthens their confidence in state institutions.
