Baghdad: Head of the Al-Azm Alliance, Muthanna al-Samarrai, met today at his office with Nouri al-Maliki, head of the State of Law Coalition, to discuss the latest political developments and the requirements of the next phase.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement by the Azm Alliance indicated that the meeting addressed the importance of strengthening dialogue among national forces. The discussions focused on joint coordination in dealing with constitutional and political issues in a way that ensures the stability of the political process and the proper functioning of institutions.
