Samarra: The Head of the Azm Alliance, Engineer Muthanna Al-Samarrai, received Mohammed Al-Hassan, the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Iraq, in his office in Samarra on Sunday. A statement from Al-Samarrai’s office highlighted that the meeting focused on key political and social issues, the impact of ongoing regional tensions, and strategies to strengthen the United Nations’ role in supporting Iraq’s stability and reconstruction.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Samarrai emphasized the necessity of bolstering UN coordination with national forces to enhance Iraq’s internal stability amidst the escalating regional situation. He underscored the critical need for international support in development and humanitarian initiatives, particularly in areas severely affected by security and economic challenges.
