Baghdad: The Secretary-General of the Generations Gathering, Ajiyal, MP Mohammed Saadoun Al-Sayhoud, affirmed that Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani will be “Iraq’s primary candidate” in the upcoming elections, noting that the government program has strengthened public confidence in the performance of the executive authority.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sayhoud emphasized in a press statement that the rapid achievements of Al-Sudani’s government have helped rebuild the relationship between citizens and officials. He mentioned that promises have been translated into tangible actions and noted that the government has implemented over 95% of its program, covering various sectors and all regions across Iraq.

He further added that current indicators suggest that the Iraqi street eagerly awaits the continuation of the development and reconstruction process. This anticipation paves the way for Al-Sudani’s potential second term to fulfill the next phase’s remaining requirements. Al-Sayhoud stressed the importance of the fast pace of implementation, citing a political leader who remarked on Al-Sudani’s swift progress, saying, “Al-Sudani is working so fast we can’t keep up-he needs to slow down.”

Al-Sayhoud concluded by stating that Al-Sudani is determined to address long-standing issues and eliminate the burdens inherited from the past, aiming to elevate Iraq to a better level in all fields.
