Al-Shammari Leads Key Conference on Arbaeen Pilgrimage Plan


Karbala: Lieutenant General Abdul Amir al-Shammari, Director of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, chaired a significant conference today at the headquarters of the Karbala Operations Command. The meeting was attended by the governor, the head of the services committee, several security commanders, and representatives from relevant ministries, departments, and supporting agencies.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Shammari received a comprehensive briefing on the progress of the organizational and coordination plan for the Arba’een commemoration of Imam Hussein. The conference aimed to review plans for all aspects of the pilgrimage, focusing on their implementation to ensure the smooth movement of mourners, secure roads, and address any potential challenges.



Al-Shammari emphasized the importance of relying on intelligence efforts, avoiding traffic closures, and providing the best possible services to pilgrims. He called for an integrated approach to security and service efforts to ensure the success of the pilgrimage.
