Al-Sudani and Abu Raghif Highlight Need to Enhance Media Efforts for Arab Summit Success


Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani and Chairman of the Communications and Media Commission (CMC), Nofal Abu Ragheef, have emphasized the necessity of intensifying official media efforts alongside government initiatives to ensure the success of the upcoming Arab Summit.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the CMC issued a statement revealing that Nofal Abu Ragheef met with Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani to discuss key issues, with a particular focus on the fourth national license project and media strategies related to Baghdad’s hosting of the Arab Summit. The meeting underscored the importance of regulatory progress to activate the license, which is expected to bolster investment opportunities and support the national economy.

The statement further detailed discussions on the development of digital infrastructure, initiatives by the CMC to combat misinformation, and efforts to enhance transparency in the telecommunications sector. These discussions align with the government’s direc
tives and practical steps towards achieving comprehensive digital transformation.
