Najaf: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani engaged in discussions with Najaf Governor Yousef Gnawi regarding the challenges delaying the timely completion of projects in the province. The meeting also covered the broader situation in Najaf Governorate, emphasizing issues related to key projects currently underway.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sudani emphasized the importance of identifying solutions to expedite the completion of stalled service projects in the governorate’s districts and sub-districts. These efforts aim to enhance infrastructure and transform the economic and social landscape of Najaf Governorate.

Al-Sudani highlighted Najaf’s unique religious and historical significance, noting its status as a major tourist destination attracting millions of visitors each year. He mentioned the government’s focus on the province, which included the launch of significant service projects last year, along with initiatives to develop and rehabilitate the old city in Najaf.
