Al-Sudani Appoints New Commander for North Euphrates Operations


Baghdad: Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, issued an order appointing Major General Abdullah Ramadan Attiya al-Jubouri as Commander of the North Euphrates operations, responsible for securing the Iraqi-Syrian border.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the appointment of Major General al-Jubouri comes as part of efforts to enhance the security measures along the border region.
