Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani met with the CEO of Power China, Chen Guan Fu, alongside his delegation, to discuss the ongoing projects that the company is implementing in Iraq.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on reviewing a range of projects including solar energy projects, combined cycle projects, and gas stations. These projects are part of the government’s strategy to diversify energy sources in the country.
Al-Sudani was given an overview of the plans and procedures that are being followed to implement these projects. The discussions also included mechanisms for expanding Power China’s operations in Iraq, in alignment with government plans. Additionally, there was a focus on joint projects with the Iraq Development Fund, particularly those aimed at investing in and implementing clean and renewable energy projects.
