Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani presided over a crucial meeting focused on advancing the oil derivatives industry and exploring new investment mechanisms. The session included key figures such as the Prime Minister’s advisors, the Director General of SOMO, and the Director General of Investments at the Ministry of Electricity.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s Media Office released a statement detailing the discussions that took place during the meeting. The primary agenda revolved around strategies for developing the oil derivatives industry. The government has initiated several projects in recent months aimed at boosting production and marketing efforts, with the ultimate goal of enhancing state resources.
