Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi and Head of the Reconstruction Coalition Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani emphasized on Thursday the need to strengthen political understandings to move forward with completing the government formation process.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a release that Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi met with Head of the Reconstruction Coalition Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani. The meeting addressed the general situation in the country and focused on supporting the government in implementing its program, as well as its development and reform plans, in a manner that contributes to enhancing stability, creating job opportunities, and improving the investment climate.

The statement added that the meeting underscored the necessity of strengthening understandings among national political forces to move forward with completing the government’s formation and enabling it to address current challenges, thereby reinforcing the pillars of stability and serving the supreme national interest.
