Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi on Tuesday appointed Ali Abdul Ridha Alwan as Chairman of the Trade Bank of Iraq (TBI) and Bilal Al-Hamdani as Executive Director of the Iraq Development Fund.
According to Iraqi News Agency, Aqeel Al-Shuwaili, who serves as the media adviser to the Trade Bank of Iraq (TBI), announced that Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi issued an order introducing changes to several senior positions in financial and development institutions. These changes include appointing Ali Abdul Ridha Alwan as the chairman of TBI and assigning Bilal Al-Hamdani to serve as the executive director of the Iraq Development Fund.
Al-Shuwaili explained that these appointments are part of the government’s broader efforts to enhance management efficiency across financial and development institutions. The aim is to advance administrative and economic reform, improve institutional performance, and accelerate the implementation of development programs and plans.
Furthermore, Al-Shuwaili emphasized that these changes are intended to strengthen the efficiency of financial and development institutions. By supporting administrative and economic reform, the government seeks to raise institutional performance and expedite the implementation of development initiatives.
