An attempt to smuggle more than two kilograms of narcotics in the possession of an Iraqi passenger at a border crossing thwarted

The Border Ports Authority announced that it had thwarted an attempt to smuggle more than two kilograms of narcotic drugs at the Shalamcheh border crossing.

It stated in a statement: An Iraqi passenger was arrested in his possession a narcotic drug (Triac) weighing 2,430 kg.
It explained that the seizure process was carried out by the women’s inspectors detachment affiliated with the port and the police inspectors of the Custom station at the port in the arrivals of passengers inspection hall.
