Najaf: The Najaf Narcotics Affairs Directorate, in a targeted security operation, seized 1 kg of crystal methamphetamine and arrested two individuals accused of trafficking and distributing narcotics.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a security source from the directorate stated: “The operation was based on precise intelligence and field surveillance, resulting in thwarting the suspects’ attempt and dealing another blow to drug networks.”

The source added: “The General Directorate of Narcotics Affairs affirms its continued pursuit of drug dealers and traffickers, and will take legal action against the accused, referring them to the judiciary to receive their just punishment.”
