Baghdad: The Speaker of Parliament has approved a formal request, signed by 111 MPs, to include the beneficiaries of the seventh installment of the social safety net program within the 2027 federal budget bill.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, MP Qaisar al-Jurani announced in a press conference on Monday that Parliament’s leadership has officially approved the inclusion of the request concerning the beneficiaries of the seventh installment within the budget bill. This decision comes in response to the significant delay in disbursement since the previous government, aiming to expedite the allocation process through the Mastercard system.
