Riyadh:Minister of Electricity Ali Wahieb highlighted the need for strengthened Arab collaboration to support energy security and sustainability, emphasizing the mutual benefits for Arab countries.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Minister attended the 16th meeting of the Arab Ministerial Council for Electricity in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The gathering aimed to advance joint Arab initiatives in electricity, renewable energy, and energy efficiency, and to enhance cooperation at both regional and international levels.

The discussions at the meeting included the expansion of cooperation and coordination among Arab nations, along with the exchange of expertise. These measures are intended to develop electricity sectors, boost energy system efficiency, and promote Arab integration within this essential sector.

The Minister stressed the importance of intensifying collaborative efforts, forming regional and international partnerships, and utilizing modern technologies and expertise to bolster energy security and sustainability, benefiting the shared interests of Arab nations.
