Moscow: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in Moscow to discuss issues related to the strikes carried out by Israel and the United States against Iran with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Iranian Foreign Minister intends to consult with the Russian leader and senior officials in Moscow on regional and international issues related to the US and Israeli strikes on the territory of the Islamic Republic.

Araghchi announced during a press conference in Istanbul that he would visit Moscow and meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, noting that the visit comes within the framework of the “strategic partnership” between the two countries. He added that Tehran has been regularly updating the Russian side on the details of its nuclear negotiations with Washington in recent months.

The United States targeted three Iranian nuclear facilities in Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan on Sunday night. President Trump described the target of the strikes as “Restricting Iran’s nuclear capabilities,” warning of more serious consequences if Tehran does not agree to “end this war.”
