Araghchi Confirms Indirect US-Iran Negotiations in Oman Without Preconditions

Algiers: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed that negotiations with the United States in the Sultanate of Oman will be conducted indirectly, noting that the negotiations do not include any preconditions, and that the ball is now in America’s court to achieve positive results if it has a genuine will.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Araghchi, who is visiting Algeria, indicated that the talks will be held in the Sultanate of Oman next Saturday, and they will be conducted indirectly, and no other method of negotiation will be accepted.

He continued by stating that the manner of the negotiations, whether direct or indirect, is not of primary importance. What really matters is whether the negotiations are effective or ineffective, and the seriousness and intentions of the parties, and their desire to reach an agreement.
