Baghdad: Iraqi artists Majid Al-Muhandis and Waleed Al-Shami have collaborated on a new song titled “Al-Sadda” (The Rejection), which has been released by Rotana Music on digital platforms. The song delves into the intricate themes of reproach, betrayal, and rejection within relationships.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the song features lyrics by poet Yasser Al-Tuwaijri, with music composed by Waleed Al-Shami and musical arrangement by Muhannad Khader. A teaser campaign was strategically launched on official social media accounts, building anticipation before Rotana officially announced its availability online.

The official poster accompanying the release shows Al-Muhandis and Al-Shami in black outfits against a red background, symbolizing the intense emotions conveyed in the song. “Al-Sadda” marks the artists’ reunion after previous collaborations with other artists, presenting them as a duet that highlights their contrasting vocal styles and performances.
