Baghdad: The Baghdad Crime Control Directorate detachments uncovered a mysterious murder of a girl.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Directorate stated in a statement that the Baghdad Crime Control Directorate detachments were able to uncover a mysterious murder, as they found the body of a girl inside a plastic water tank covered with a concrete layer, and thrown in a remote area. Immediately after receiving the report, a specialized team was formed to uncover the circumstances of the incident.

It added that after accurate investigations and exceptional technical efforts, it resulted in identifying the perpetrators, arresting them, and seizing the vehicle used to transport the body. During the investigations, the accused explicitly confessed to killing the girl, burying her inside a water tank, and hiding the body with a concrete slab in order to obscure the traces of the crime.
