Baghdad: Several suspects were arrested and unlicensed weapons and materials were seized in Baghdad. The Baghdad Operations Command announced on Sunday the arrest of several individuals on various legal charges and the seizure of unlicensed weapons, ammunition, and other materials.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Command issued a statement indicating that detachments of the Baghdad Joint Operations Command had arrested several individuals on various legal charges, which included violations by foreigners of residency and citizenship regulations. The arrested individuals were found in possession of unauthorized items, including 231 SIM cards, 166 Mastercards, 6 passports, 3 stamps, and 3 drones.

Furthermore, the statement noted that unlicensed weapons and ammunition were seized. Additionally, vehicles and motorcycles that violated traffic regulations were impounded as part of the operation.
