Baghdad:The Ministry of Oil has announced that preparations are complete for the “Baghdad International Energy Investment Forum,” which is set to take place on January 20-21, 2027. The event will focus on the theme “Towards Optimal Investment in Oil and Gas.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the forum will be held under the patronage of the Prime Minister and will see participation from energy ministers worldwide, along with leaders from major global corporations and specialized international organizations.

This strategic gathering aims to spotlight significant investment opportunities in Iraq’s oil and gas sectors, aligning with the national vision to position Baghdad as a central player in regional and global energy markets. The organizing committee has extended official invitations to key figures in the energy sector, intending for the forum to facilitate high-level dialogue, sustainable international partnerships, and the adoption of cutting-edge technological solutions for infrastructure development.
