Kirkuk The head of the Parliamentary Human Rights Committee, MP Arshad Al-Salihi, met with the religious authority, Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafi in Al-Najaf governorate.

A statement issued by Al-Salihi stated that the meeting witnessed a discussion of the general situation in the country, issues related to domestic violence and the law of custody of children, stressing the importance of speeding up the implementation of the law of Yazidi and Turkmen survivors and other components affected by the brutality of ISIS terrorist gangs.

The two parties stressed the importance of meeting the needs of citizens in various sectors, in addition to evaluating the current situation the country is going through.
