Basra: The Governor of Basra, Asaad Al-Eidani, met with Minister of Transport Wahab Al-Hassani to discuss a range of issues concerning the transport sector and service projects within the province. The discussions aimed to explore ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the local government and the Ministry of Transport, with a focus on developing transport infrastructure and bolstering economic activity in Basra.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting included participation from key local figures such as Nael Al-Kaldani, head of the Basra Provincial Council’s Transport and Communications Committee, and Dr. Aqeel Al-Fariji, head of the Security Committee. This gathering was part of Minister Al-Hassani’s inspection visit to Basra province, aimed at monitoring the operational work of the ministry’s departments and reviewing the progress of ongoing projects and services in the area.
