Baghdad: The Basra Governorate Office has announced the completion of admissions for government schools that adhere to international standards, confirming that no new applications will be considered.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Governorate Office revealed in a press statement that these schools have the capacity to accommodate 2,400 students. However, the number of applicants reached over 13,000, significantly exceeding the schools’ capacity.
The statement from the Governorate Office highlighted that the admissions process is now closed, and no additional applications will be accepted beyond the specified number of students.
