BOC Arrests Terrorism Suspect and Two Premeditated Murder Accused in Baghdad


Baghdad: Baghdad Operations Command forces arrested a number of wanted persons, including an accused of “terrorism” and two others for “premeditated murder” on both sides of Baghdad, specifically in the areas of Karkh and Rusafa.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the command stated in a statement that forces from the 17th, 1st, and 5th divisions, along with the Federal Police Mechanized division and the support of intelligence agencies, successfully detained the suspects. The arrest of the accused terrorist was made possible after monitoring and tracking his movements within the designated area of responsibility. Additionally, a man and a woman were apprehended for their involvement in a premeditated murder case. The operations also resulted in the arrest of 15 foreign workers who violated the terms and conditions set by the Department of Residence and Nationality. These arrests took place in various areas, including Al-Amin, Tal Al-Dhahab, Sadr City, Muscat, and al-Shurta al-Khamisa, located on both sides of Karkh and Rusafa.
