Baghdad: Baghdad Operations Command-BOC announced on Sunday the arrest of a number of suspects under various legal provisions and the seizure of weapons, ammunition, and unlicensed materials.

According to Iraqi News Agency, BOC stated that the joint detachments of the Baghdad Operations Command apprehended several individuals under various legal provisions. Among those arrested were foreign nationals who were found to be violating residency and nationality requirements. The authorities also discovered that these individuals were in possession of 231 SIM cards, 166 MasterCards, six passports, three stamps, and three camera drones without authorization.

The statement further detailed the seizure of weapons, ammunition, and other unlicensed materials. Additionally, vehicles and motorcycles that were in violation of traffic regulations were impounded during the operation.
