Hilla: The body of a young man was discovered in the Al-Shomali district, south of Hilla, raising concerns among the local community. Farmers in the area stumbled upon the body in one of the district's secondary canals on Saturday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Babil Police Media Director, Colonel Ammar Al-Shammari, reported that the farmers immediately informed the police upon finding the body. The police have since transferred the body to the forensic medicine department for further examination. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident has been initiated, as authorities work to uncover the details of the young man's death.
