Babylon: The body of a young man was recovered from the Euphrates River in the Abi Gharq district, west of Hillah, the capital of Babil Governorate. The local river police, under the Babil Police Command, were responsible for retrieving the body.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Babil Police Media Director, Colonel Ammar al-Shammari, confirmed the recovery and stated that the police have transferred the body to the forensic medicine department. An investigation into the incident has been initiated to determine the circumstances surrounding the young man’s death.
