Muscat: The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) announced that an oil tanker was struck by an unidentified projectile off the coast of Oman, with no casualties reported. The agency detailed the incident, stating that the attack occurred approximately nine nautical miles northeast of Shisah in Oman’s Musandam Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the projectile damaged the engine room, rendering the vessel inoperable and out of service. All crew members are safe and sound. The agency added that there is currently no confirmed information regarding any environmental damage at the site.
