UKMTO added that the tanker is believed to have sustained structural damage, confirming that there were no injuries or environmental damage.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, UKMTO also reported receiving a notification of another incident involving an oil tanker transiting the Strait of Hormuz, stating that an unidentified drone targeted the tanker. UKMTO confirmed that three oil tankers were struck in the Strait of Hormuz within the past 24 hours.
