Brussels: The Central Bank of Iraq The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) denied on Saturday reports circulating about a possible increase in the dollar exchange rate against the Iraqi dinar.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the CBI stated, “The reports suggesting a move to raise the dollar exchange rate are baseless. No such decision has been issued.” The statement emphasized that the exchange rate adopted by CBI remains unchanged.

The CBI urged media outlets and social media users to exercise accuracy and rely on official sources when reporting on monetary policy and exchange rates.
